English. Flying. Tippler. Union.    ( E.F.T.U.)

This Union to be known as the English.Flying.Tippler.Union the aim of the Union is to bring together tippler clubs and individual tippler fanciers with the purpose of promoting through competition and exhibition all aspects of the flying tippler sport.

The Union shall be governed by an elected three man committee consisting of

Vice President    I. Elstob

Who shall have the power to make decisions on behalf of the Union with the Chairman having the casting vote in all matters arising throughout their term of office which will run from one A.G.M. to the A.G.M. the following year

The Union shall also have a Secretary

Who will be responsible for the day to day running finances etc of the Union and be accountable to the Committee

Membership

 A: Firstly it should be pointed out this Union is for Tippler fanciers only no member is allowed to ring with E.F.T.U. rings or compete in any E.F.T.U. events with any bird other than a flying tippler anyone found doing so will face expulsion from the Union

B: Any person residing within the E.F.T.U. boundary  and is over 15 years old is welcome to apply for membership in this Union all applications can be made to the Secretary and will be decided by the committee membership will be accepted at any time during the year no rings will be given out before January of the same year

C: The Committee will arrange an A.GM. to be held in October each year where the Committee and Secretary for the following year will be elected

D: Following each A.G.M. the newly elected Committee will hold a finance meeting to set fees for the following year

2012 Fees

Membership fees            £ 15:00

Competition entry fee    £ 1:00

Rings                                  £ 1:50 per 10 sold in batches of 10

All fees and ring monies to be paid before rings are issued all competition fees to be paid before competition date.

The Union to organise 8 competitions each year both official (with referee present) and honour (competitor acts as his own referee).Competitions to be held on Sundays but any member who cannot for any reason compete on Sunday can compete on the Saturday of the same weekend but must notify the Secretary either by post or phone 1 week in advance affiliated club Secretaries to be responsible for putting in entries for their members private members are responsible for their own entries.This also applies to completed timesheets which must be received by the E.F.T.U.secretary no later than 6 days following the competition

Diplomas to be awarded for the first 3 places for members using the honour system and framed diplomas or trophies for the first 3 places official system. Records set by members competing using the honour system will be recognised separately within that system

The Committee has the right to send an inspector of their own choice to oversee the standard of refereeing at any members loft during any competition any complaints concerning any Union matters should be sent to the Secretary who will forward the complaint on for a decision from the council.
